75 THINGS YOU CAN DO WHILE QUARANTINED IN YOUR HOME (WHETHER BY CHOICE OR ORDERS)
1) Write down 10 things you are grateful for as soon as you awaken each morning
2) Meditate (download Insight Timer app on Android or Synctuition) or find many other free meditations on the internet
3) Cry if you want (tears are scientifically proven to be healing)
4) Go through old paperwork and shred what you no longer need to save
5) Write in a journal
6) Write a letter to a passed on loved one (what would you tell them - they’re listening)
7) Write a will (you can have it looked over by a lawyer later)
8) Weed your yard (kill weeds with DIY spray) Recipe - 1 Gallon of White Distilled Vinegar, 2 Cups Epsom Salt and 1/4 Cup Dawn dish soap. Mix in a large container and spray weeds either with a container that has a sprayer or transfer to a spray bottle. Better with a container because your fingers will get sore using a spray bottle. Very effective and fast acting. If you don’t have Epsom salts do it without them. If you don’t have Dawn, use another mild dish soap or even vinegar only.

11) Give yourself a manicure/pedicure
12) Wash your windows inside/out
13) Look up craft projects that utilize things you already have in your house. Pinterest is very helpful.
14) Start a workout regimen. You don’t need a gym or home exercise equipment for this.
15) Create a new recipe or learn to cook
16) Make your own hand sanitizer if you have these ingredients. Rubbing alcohol (isopropryl alcohol 70%), your favorite scent(s) of essential oil, fresh lemon juice, a dash of salt, rose hips seed oil. I love clove essential oil which is also an anti fungal as is tea tree oil. Get creative. Mix and put in spray bottles.
17) Catch up on reading your favorite books
18) Take a vacation on YouTube. I “traveled” this way often while I was sitting at my husband’s bedside while he was dying of cancer.
19) Delete and unsubscribe from all those emails that inundate you.
20) Organize old photos. If you have a scanner, scan them.
21) Write poetry
22) Research how to start your own business
23) Learn to play that guitar or other musical instrument that’s collecting dust
24) Learn a new language, including sign language
25) Clean out your vehicle
26) Find your favorite new podcasts
27) Find your favorite Ted Talks
28) Watch movies, especially comedies
29) Watch videos of stand up comedy shows
30) Write you life story for future generations in your family to read
31) Write a book, a novel, How To manual with skills you master, Cookbook, Children’s Story, Your Life Story or Lessons You’ve Learned
32) Work on a jigsaw puzzle - this can be done online if you don’t have any.
33) Play those board games with your family members that have been sitting in your closet for years
34) Make a dream board
35) Write down your goals for the next year, five years, etc.
36) Create affirmations
37) Try your hand at painting, you can order Paint By Numbers kits if you’d rather not do it freely
38) Color
39) Write a song/music
40) Reread old letters you’ve saved - almost everyone has some or that diary you wrote as a child
41) Bake cookies/cakes, most have ingredients in your pantry
42) Work on your taxes, if you can (wondering if we’ll be offered extensions?)
43) Create a budget if you don’t have one
44) Celebrate each day that you aren’t out spending money
45) Complete minor maintenance tasks around the house - tightening loose doorknobs, etc.
46) Catch up on sewing, crocheting or needlepoint projects
47) If you already have the supplies, go ahead and paint your home, if you’ve been putting it off. Paint that room.
48) Clean your oven
49) Clean your fridge
50) Clean those blinds and other areas that you’ve neglected or don’t clean regularly
51) Clean out/organize your garage
52) Dye your hair
53) Condition your hair with coconut oil
54) Sharpen your knives. How often do you forget to do this?
55) Record videos for family/friends
56) Listen to your music playlist and dance
57) Make jewelry
58) Make those phone calls you’ve been putting off. Check in on those who are at a higher risk or those you are prone to isolation/depression.
59) Balance your checkbook!
60) If you are out in the country/separated, as opposed to the city, walk, hike, get out and explore nature. Get up and close and observe as you never have. Be grounded (take off your shoes, if it’s not too cold) Sit down in nature and listen, really listen. This is often when you will recognize intuitive messages.
61) Replace batteries where needed
62) Sit in silence - how long can you do this?
63) Drink lots of water and tea and hot water with lemon/honey
64) Learn yoga (can find resources via the internet)
65) Create a Facebook page on any subject you want to meet/help others
66) Draw/doodle
67) Play cards/solitaire
68) Sing! Record yourself singing (there are tools now to alter your voice and make you sing like pro!)
69) Clean up your computer - go through your History and delete. Get rid of apps you don’t use.
70) Brainstorm and write down anything/any ideas that come to you. You’ll be surprised what presents itself.
71) Make a list of everything you like about yourself
72) Take photos, selfies, anything around your home/yard that looks interesting. You may surprise yourself with what you notice. I discovered a hidden hummingbird nest in my lemon tree last year. Easy to miss.
73) Binge watch your favorite shows
74) Research DIY projects/activities. You’ll be surprised at the creativity, simplicity and accessibility to items you already have for things you can do/make yourself.
75) Luxuriate with a bubblebath
